Mikey Way is the former bassist of My Chemical Romance and the current frontman of Electric Century. He portrayed Kobra Kid during My Chemical Romance's Danger Days era. In addition to appearing in the music videos, he performed with the band during the World Contamination Tour and the Honda Civic Tour. According to brother Gerard Way:
When we realized we were going to re-record the album, I turned to Mikey and said just one thing: "Danger Days, here we come again."[1]
