Shaun Simon is one of the co-creators of the Killjoy concept (along with Gerard Way) and the co-writer of the comics and Twitter accounts. He and Gerard Way developed the original concept over a period of weeks, searching for inspiration and sharing ideas back and forth[1]. Due to delays, the comics were pushed back and eventually reworked. They were finally published in 2013, with a completely different plot from what was originally intended[2].
Twitter Accounts
In addition to co-authoring the comics, Simon also ran several Twitter accounts. In 2014, he revealed that he was behind AgentCherriCola, BobFillmore, GaryLevko, DJHotChimp, and NewsAGoGo[3].
