The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys is a six-issue comic series that follows the girl several years after the events of the "SING" video. The first issue was published on June 12, 2013, with the series concluded on January 1, 2014. The exclusive short story "Dead Satellites" was also released on Free Comic Book Day 2013. The entire series plus the short story have been collected in a paperback edition, as well as a limited edition hardcover with sketches and essays from the creators[1].
Synopsis
Several years after the deaths of the Fabulous Four, the girl returns to find that a new gang of Killjoys has taken over the Zones: the Ultra Vs. While the girl struggles to find her purpose in the desert, a pair of pornodroids in Battery City plot their escape. Tensions rise, friends and rivals clash, and old enemies become allies until their fates intertwine in one final, thrilling conclusion.

Each issue was published with one main cover by Becky Cloonan, as well as one or more special edition covers by various artists. Guest artists include Gabriel Bá, Fábio Moon, Rafael Grampá, Gerard Way, Paul Pope, and Brian Ewing[2].
